Delete Your Account
Mind Your Business allows users to request deletion of their account and associated data directly from within the MYB mobile app.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Open the Mind Your Business (MYB) app.
- Go to Profile.
- Select Delete Account.
- Choose a reason and confirm your request.
Once submitted, your request is sent to our administrators for processing.
Deletion Timeline
After submitting a deletion request:
- Your request enters a pending state.
- Your account and data are permanently deleted within 24 hours.
- You may cancel the request within this 24-hour window from the app.
Data That Is Deleted
- User profile (username, email, profile image)
- Favorites
- Reviews and ratings
- Messages and chat history
- Reports submitted
- Business data (if applicable)
- Uploaded images and files
Data That May Be Retained
Certain information may be retained temporarily where legally required, such as:
- Transaction or audit logs
- Security logs
All retained data is securely stored and automatically purged in accordance with applicable laws.
